Alston & Bird’s Privacy & Data Security Group was featured in a Law360 article that touted the team for their recently released Cyber-Risk Legal Package, a customized package for each client letting them know what they should be doing to counter the growing threat of security breaches, as well as what to expect in terms of pricing in order to accomplish that task.
The new legal package covers data breach preparation services covering a range of practice areas, including incident response plan development, securities filing reviews and insurance product counseling.
“The idea came from a confluence of two issues that we see all the time—the need for comprehensive cyber-risk advice and the need from clients for predictable cost planning,” said Jim Harvey, co-lead of the firm’s Security Management & Response Team.
“A lot of times, companies have concerns and want to call and ask for advice—if they know how much it’s going to cost, they are more likely to get all the information they need instead of worrying about the clock ticking,” he said.
